Iodosorb Cadexomer Iodine Gel cleans wounds by absorbing fluids, removing exudate, slough, and debris, and forming a gel on the wound surface. Iodine is released as the gel absorbs exudate, killing bacteria and changing color as the iodine is depleted. Iodosorb gel is a wound care product with dual action. It is composed of cadexomer iodine, a water-soluble polymer containing iodine.
